Court Opening

21st June, 2008

The Club marked its major upgrading programme by securing the attendance of 2 great professionals from the seniors’ tour - Jeremy Bates & Tom Gullikson. The guys entertained us in a short match before club members Nick Coleman & Andy Gentry joined them - Jeremy and Tom drew their names out of the hat. The event was well supported (including County Times & Slinfold News Reel) and everyone said that they had a good time, partaking in Bucks Fizz or other refreshments under the gazebo. The Club has recently resurfaced the courts in striking two tone blue and at the same time installed new nets and posts, extended the floodlights to all 3 courts, put up new windbreaks and a new sign. And we haven't finished yet!
