Mens and Womens Doubles Tournament (2009)

We held our first tournament of the season on Sunday 10th May. 32 members entered the ladies' and men's doubles championships and they and their supporters enjoyed a BBQ afterwards in the Spring sunshine.

The ladies tournament was won this year by the 2006 & 2007 winners, Jo Bardot and Sue McDougall, who played against the spirited partnership of Sue Ratford and Kelly Slater. The men’s tournament was also hard fought and last year's winners, Andy Gentry and Simon Stokoe came back to claim a second victory over the effervescent partnership of Steve Noden and Nick Coleman.
